Homemade Bacon Infused Pancake Recipe

Pancakes are one of the most popular breakfast items and go great with eggs, bacon, ham... you name it! So what happens when you style up your homemade pancakes with a fan favorite piece of succulent meat added into the batter? The taste is indescribable!

It's always nice to have a great pancake batter recipe that tastes wonderful and is fluffy while still leaving you full and satisfied. Well this is one of my favorites. I make this recipe for my family all of the time and they NEVER turn it down! So make a delicious breakfast for your family today. PSSST... the word on the street is that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

My Famous Fluffy Pancakes With the Bacon Inside Rather Than Out

Let me just start off by saying that these pancakes came out so moist and delicious, I only used syrup on one of the ones I ate, just to taste the difference (and I've NEVER eaten pancakes without syrup before). I make a double batch of these because I know I am going to be asked for seconds and thirds.

Ingredients
2 cups white flour
2 cups brown flour
8 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
2 3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup syrup
2/3 cup bacon grease
1 lb diced and precooked crispy bacon

1. Prepare Your Batter
2. Add in Cooked Bacon Chunks
3. Pop the Batter on the GriddleYummy!

Time to Chow Down on a Pancake Breakfast

I always use 1 cup white flour and 1 cup whole wheat flour for this recipe. If you adjust your recipe to use all white flour the amount of milk will work out the same, but if you happen to use all whole wheat flour then you will probably need to add a bit more milk. Don't like bacon in your pancakes? Then here is my famous fluffy pancake breakfast recipe. Same great taste but without the bacon.

2 Cups flour
1 Tbsp sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 Cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 milk

Add all of your dry ingredients, then mix in all of your wet ingredients. Pour onto your electric griddle or pan. Cook until bubbles start to pop, flip over, and cook for a bit longer. Then they are ready to serve and eat. Pretty easy.

Why Do I Use Cinnamon?
Just to name a few reasons... It is good for brain health. One study even mentioned that just smelling cinnamon can boost cerebral function and memory.

It has been known to help prevent certain types of cancer. It's a great way to lower cholesterol. It also helps to regulate your blood sugar.

What Goes Great With Perfect Pancakes? Perfect Eggs of Course! Morning Not Going Quite as Planned? No Problem.

Some days just don't quite start off the way you would like them to but that's okay. With a family of 6 things can go a little crazy in my house at any time of day. Just keep a sense of humor and a smile on your face. Make the best of things and your day will get better. It always seems to just naturally work out that way. It's funny how your mood has a tendency to affect how the day will go.
