When you have a large family the holidays are definitely an exciting time of year. With a family of six we celebrate a lot of birthdays around here. St. Patricks, Valentine's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Happy New Year these are our family traditions, recipes, tips, DIY, and tales. It is certainly a busy place around here. Being pregnant I wanted to create a very unique theme for my costume this year. As hubby and I have long been fans of The Walking Dead a zombie theme seemed like the natural way to go. A little creativity and a lot of fake blood got us the effect we were looking for.

Just like grandma used to make - Well maybe not quite. Cabbage rolls were pretty much a standard meal when company visited my Grandmother's house.
