My kids occasionally get their creative juices flowing and have managed to surprise me with some pretty amazing handmade projects. 

 I am pretty busy but do manage to squeeze in a little time for craft projects and enjoy sharing my creations online. We tend to come up with our own unique way of crafting items so I hope you enjoy the selection I've chosen to post.

 When it comes to fixing things I am also getting pretty handy at a few DIY projects. My husband is somewhat of a girl when it comes to home or vehicle repairs so he brings home the paycheck and I generally wind up taking care of the DIY fix it projects that need to get done around our place. So these are my crafty and DIY ventures. Enjoy.

Every parent has discovered their child's crayon art work decorating the walls of their home. They are proud of their creative accomplishment and you are standing there in horror. Well you don't have to worry about that anymore. These wall boards give them their own special creative place.

Just like grandma used to make - Well maybe not quite. Cabbage rolls were pretty much a standard meal when company visited my Grandmother's house. We all want our babies to get the best possible nutrition without also ingesting all of those famous preservatives, additives, and colors that can be added into foods without us being any the wiser. Homemade Pumpkin Pie Filling From Scratch

This page contains my famous pumpkin pie filling recipe which today I will be turning into pumpkin tarts.  I have adapted it many times over the years to refine it ideally to suit my finicky taste buds and those who have tried it say my pies are fabulous. As a bonus I'll also share my seasoned pumpkin seeds recipe as well.  Although many people seem to think that a pumpkin's innards are simply too inconvenient to harvest into an edible food trust me when I say that just isn't true. From tarts, loafs, soups and even pumpkin spiced drinks, this fruit can be adapted to pretty much anything you put your mind to turning it into.
