These quick bites are ideal for those busy on the run days. They won't leave you feeling like you've been left out of the equation and you won't find yourself doing a last minute greasy high calorie fast food fix.

Work, school, and even stay at home parents are finding life busier than ever so time saving meals can come in very handy. Between getting kids ready for school, feeding them, and making their lunches, us parents almost always seem to get left in the dust. Well these healthy little bite sized pieces of heaven will give you the energy you need without sacrificing any extra time, or feeling guilty for making a quick choice of a different kind such as going through a drive-thru window.

Not only will your body thank-you for the nutritious snack but your wallet will as well. They are very economical to create. Oh, did I mention there's absolutely no cooking or baking involved? As you will see even this recipe is short and sweet.

1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/3 cup honey

Mix all of the ingredients together and place in the fridge for approx 30 minutes. Once the ingredients have hardened you may roll them into balls or even make them into little bars (whatever shape you would prefer).

Leave them in a covered container in your fridge for a very quick, easy, and healthy on the go breakfast or snack.

Start it with an energy boost. With a family of six my home can be quite active in the mornings so finding something for everyone to pop into their tummies in the morning can get difficult. Fortunately these eat on the run protein rich bites are ideal. For the picky eaters I pop it into their hands and they are taken care of.
